Owner and Instructor, Rosanne has over 25 years experience designing and teaching computer classes and writing computer training manuals. She has been a computer support specialist, a training manager/coordinator and a sales representative with Microsoft. She also has experience in computer consulting and application development. Rosanne continues to refine her training skills through her membership with ASTD (American Society for Training & Development).
Rosanne teaches all levels of Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio. She is Microsoft Certified in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. One of Rosanne's strengths is her ability to gauge the experience level and needs of her audience and tailor the class to meet those needs.
Her teaching style is to constantly involve students in the learning process and provide positive feedback on accomplishments. She makes sure that each class offers a supportive and relaxed environment, and her personal challenge is to make sure that each student walks away with valuable skills.
Thomas G. Ferrentino
Tom has more than 27 years experience as a computer analyst, including many years as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and teaching Microsoft Office. Tom is a former software tester for DLAN, and is presently assisting the Army with their Emergency Operations Center Course development and delivery. Tom manages all technical instruction that deals with incident management software, mass warning and notifications, integrated public alert and warning system (IPAWS. He is also a former chief of training (contractor) for DHS FEMA Disaster Management and IPAWS. He is certified in the FEMA EMI incident command system (ICS) and is a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Instructor.
Michelle Unger has over 15 years experience teaching computer classes. She specializes in empowering adult learners of all levels, from beginner through advanced, to learn the skills required to use today's technology efficiently and effectively. Michelle teaches the Microsoft Office Suite of products, QuickBooks and Windows. Michelle's motto is "simplifying today's technology" and her classes emphasize hands-on instruction, as adults learn best by becoming active participants in their own learning experience.
